Not For Boring People

If you’re craving a dining experience that’s equal parts adventurous and comforting, Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill is your perfect destination. With a vibrant menu that masterfully blends Asian-inspired dishes and American classics, this spot promises a flavorful journey that satisfies every craving.

You have to start your meal off with one of their signature cocktails. From light & refreshing, to tiki & tropical, and stirred & strong, you will find a ton of options to choose from. Their Ling"s Ginger-Lime Margarita is light and refreshing and you can spice it up with some ghost chili-infused tequila. The Empress has a beautiful presentation with a flower on top and taste delicious. The Smokey Toki was my favorite, as you can never go wrong with a smoked whiskey. This one is their version of a smoked old fashioned with a twist.

Start your meal off with the Louie's Bao Buns and a nice salad. The bao buns come in 3 different options, Char Siu Pork, Steak, and Spicy Korean Chicken, each one loaded to the max on a light and fluffy bun. Their Seared Ahi Salad comes with a huge portion of perfected seared ahi tuna, a generous mix of greens and a miso-ginger vinaigrette that I could not get enough of.

Now the entree part of the menu is quite extensive. From sushi, to signature plates, noodles, and from the wok, there's a nice selection for everyone. I tried their New Wave Pad Thai, which was piled high with noodles and loaded with chicken and shrimp. My personal favorite was the Almond-Crusted Pork. This is a newer item and I hope one to stay. Mouthwatering pork with a spicy plum sauce, served with these delicious roasted brussels sprouts and wasabi mashed potatoes. The entree's are not only unique, but deliver a playful twists that comes with surprise and delight.

Now if you like a happy ending, you're in for a treat! You always have to save room for dessert and I'd suggest trying either their Key Lime Pie or Louie's Donut Holes (or both!). A classic key lime pie with a little twist of chinese 5 spice that gives it a little unique flavor. The donut holes come with fresh fruit and a mascarpone cream, which is always delicious.

Whether you’re stopping by for happy hour, a casual meal with friends, or date night, Ling & Louie’s lively atmosphere and diverse menu make every visit an event. With 2 locations in Arizona and a few more in the U.S., it’s clear their motto, "Not for Boring People," rings true in every dish and drink they serve.
