Evo: Elevating Italian Cuisine in Scottsdale

If you’re in the mood for delicious Italian cuisine made with local, seasonal ingredients, Evo is a must-visit. With two locations—one in Old Town Scottsdale and another in North Scottsdale—this beautiful restaurant offers an elevated dining experience that blends traditional Italian flavors with modern creativity.

Starters That Steal the Show

Evo’s appetizers set the stage for an unforgettable meal. The Charred Octopus was one of my standout bites, beautifully plated with a flavorful romesco sauce, tangerine olives, and tender potatoes. The balance of smoky, tangy, and rich flavors made it a dish I’d absolutely order again.

Another surprise hit was the Charcuterie Board, which was loaded with an impressive spread of house-made jams, cured meats, cheeses, pickled veggies, olives, fruits, nuts, and freshly baked house bread. If you’re a fan of sharing plates, this one is a must.

Handcrafted Pastas & Pizzas

Evo takes pride in its handmade pastas and pizzas, and the craftsmanship shows in every bite. The Fennel Sausage Pasta brings bold flavors and a satisfying texture, while the Truffle Short Rib Stuffed Bow Tie is a rich and decadent dish that highlights their attention to detail and ingredient quality.

If pizza is more your style, the Calabrian & Prosciutto Pizza is a perfect choice. The combination of heat from the Calabrian chiles and the salty, savory prosciutto creates a perfectly balanced slice. The crust is crisp yet chewy, making for a truly satisfying bite.

Sweet Endings & Refreshing Drinks

No meal at Evo is complete without dessert, and the Italian Hangover Cake is an absolute must-try. Moist, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent, it’s the perfect way to finish your meal on a sweet note.

Evo also offers some fantastic cocktails to pair with your meal. Two standout drinks are the Strawberry Fields, a refreshing and fruity option, and the Lavender Moon, which adds a floral twist to a classic cocktail experience.
