A Vietnamese Gem in Mesa, Arizona

If you’ve never had Vietnamese cuisine, Com Tam Thuan Kieu (Broken Rice), located in Mekong Plaza, is the perfect introduction. Known for its authentic flavors and extensive menu, this spot delivers a true taste of Vietnam in every bite.


Start with their Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls, a refreshing combination of rice paper, fresh greens, mint, vermicelli noodles, and bean sprouts served with a savory peanut sauce that’s the perfect complement. A must try on their menu are the new Lemongrass Beef Sticks, that are tender, charred skewers bursting with flavor. Whether you pair them with peanut sauce or enjoy them wrapped in fresh greens and mint, these are simply phenomenal.


When it’s time for the main course, the Meat Broken Rice Plates are a standout. Featuring their signature broken rice, these plates come with a variety of perfectly cooked meats, making it a great choice if you’re indecisive. Another great dish are their Beef Short Ribs. These are super tender and are glazed in a delicious sauce that's all on top of a bed of broken rice. The rice soaks up all that leftover sauce for an incredibly flavorful bite. Lastly, their Chicken with red rice dish is another great option. A delicious charbroiled chicken served with a dipping sauce, a perfectly fried egg, and on top of a bed of red rice.
